After the aircraft received an air refueling system, the steering wheels underwent changes, they began to install steering wheels (with a trigger) with additional controls, namely the “СБРОС УСКОРИТЕЛЕЙ” button – for resetting the СПРД-63 starting powder rocket engines. which could be used during takeoff of the aircraft, the “РАЗВОРОТ ПЕРЕДНЕГО КОЛЕСА” button for turning the front landing gear during taxiing, the “ШТАНГА” trigger – for firing the fuel receiver rod during air refueling.
